ALS becomes C-TPAT Certified with US Customs and Border Protection at our Jackson, Michigan and Laredo, Texas locations
ALS has taken proactive steps to continue to secure our
customers supply chain and assist in streamlining the
clearance process across international borders. ALS is fully
certified as a company on our northern and southern border,
and we continue to develop strategies to assist our
customers in expedited and secure logistics.

What is C-TPAT?
The Customs-Trade Partnership Against
Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a voluntary, government business
program designed to strengthen overall global supply chain
and U.S. border security. The goal is to achieve the highest
level of cargo security through close cooperation between
businesses and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). To

What are the benefits of participating in C-TPAT?
According to CBP, businesses that participate in the C-TPAT
program, receive the essential benefit of a more secure
supply chain. Also, as stated by CBP, certain C-TPAT members
will be offered benefits such as: reduced number of
inspections and priority processing.

ALS becomes a ‘Bonded Warehouse” in
Laredo, TX
ALS is growing its freight consolidation business to
service many of our NAFTA partners. Approximately 6,000
square feet of space is segregated and dedicated to “bonded
freight”. As a bonded warehouse in two locations; Jackson,
MI and Laredo, TX; ALS can assist customers importing goods
and deferring duties until the product is needed for
production or consumption. The ability to work through our
bonded warehouse is a tremendous asset to those companies
who would like to maximize cash flow by deferring payment
until absolutely needed.

ALS purchases new
Corporate office in
Jackson, MI
July 1, 2010, Automated Logistics Systems, LLC. purchased
a new corporate headquarters located at 3517 Scheele Drive,
Jackson, MI. While the move takes us just down the road, it
opens our warehousing and cross docking capabilities to over
22,000 square feet of floor space with excess footage in
vertical capabilities. ALS is growing its freight
consolidation business to service many of our NAFTA
partners. Approximately 4,000 square feet of space is
segregated and dedicated to “bonded freight”. As a bonded
warehouse in two locations; Jackson, MI and Laredo, TX; ALS
can assist customers importing goods and deferring duties
until the product is needed for production or consumption.
